Rant 2: People Who Don’t Have Standards
I don’t get people who automatically fall in love with someone who shows interest in them. Hey, what’s your type? Anyone who fucking gives me attention. You people should realize that not everyone who gives it you likes you for you, they like the attention given to them in return by people like you. People who are easy.
Rant 1: The No Boyfriend Rule
I don’t get how some parents have this ‘No Boyfriend Until You Graduate’ rule for their daughters but are totally fine with the idea of their daughter making a guy wait for them until graduation when they can OFFICIALLY be together, but for the meantime, they can hangout as if they’re already boyfriend and girlfriend. It’s the same fucking thing. Kulang nalang sagutin niya yung lalaki. ._.

Fairy Tales always have a hero and a villain. Although they contrast, you can’t create a story without either of the two. Like in life, it is necessary for bad things to happen in order for us to learn from them and move forward. There’s no good without evil, and vice versa - they need to balance each other out, which is why I chose to paint on a pair of shoes. I used sneakers because Enchanted is a *modern* fairytale. Fairy Tales’ target audience is young people, hence the color and the size.

Topic: Introversion
I’m an introvert and people have always made me feel bad for it. People make misleading assumptions about us which make us feel that we need to change in order to be accepted.
I thought of something that people often misjudge. What better way to deliver the message than using a book, or in this case, book cover. It is deliberately made to look like an ordinary book to reflect the fact that there’s more to introverts than meets the eye. Its title or author has something to do with introversion.
I used an old book to let people know that you can make something useful out of something that doesn’t seem to have any worth. Old and tattered isn’t something that would catch your eye. Also, a book is used as a defense mechanism by people who want to be left alone. Introverts usually guard their thoughts and emotions which is why I made bags out of them, because they’re are used to keep personal things in.
